Chef Martin Louzao has announced the new season of lunches at his restaurants Cocina Abierta in Condado and Nonna in Santurce. Now both restaurants will be open for lovers of fine cuisine at lunch from 12:00 p.m. on both weekdays and weekends. Cocina Abierta distinguishes itself for its menu which consists of 30 small plates divided into 5 acts. Each act is intended to guide the guest to follow a progressive order of intensity of flavors. To maximize the dining experience, every dish has 3 suggestions for wines pairings by the glass. The restaurant also has the facilities and the necessary equipment to handle different types of private activities, from birthdays to conferences and corporate events.
On the other hand, Nonna is known for offering a unique atmosphere full of history, where diners are given the opportunity to taste Italian classics where the use of fresh vegetables, a variety of cheeses, extra virgin olive oil and pasta made from scratch is provided to the public. The new menu includes a selection of dishes ranging from antipasti, soups, and pastas with a variety of meats and seafood. The pizzas are made with ingredients carefully selected by the chef which include flour from Naples, unfiltered extra virgin olive oil and fresh mozzarella made in the restaurant. They also offer a set lunch menu for $20.00 per person and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
As for cocktails, both restaurants include brands from the Worldclass COLLECTION porfolio: Ketel One vodka and CÎROC, Don Julio tequila, Tanqueray No. Ten gin, Zacapa rum, Johnnie Walker Blue Label and the American whiskey Bulleit Bourbon Frontier.
