Chef Jeremie Cruz’s name is synonymous with excellence and experience. He has been a member and coach of the Puerto Rico Culinary Team. In 1997, he was named Caribbean Chef of the Year. After years working in the kitchens of El Conquistador, Westin Rio Mar, and Villa Montaña Beach Resort, Chef Jeremie decided to open Jota by Chef Jeremie in Aguadilla, an inviting family friendly restaurant focusing on delicious food prepared with local products. The menu features some of his greatest hits, as well as, new creations which everyone can enjoy. Since his focus is on fresh local products, the menu changes quite frequently to incorporate the same, guaranteeing a new experience each time you visit the restaurant that will keep you coming back for more.
We had the pleasure of being invited to an exclusive media tasting were Chef Jeremie showcased his creativity and treated us to a feast for the senses. Every dish proved to be a perfect progression of balanced flavors and sensations. Our top dishes were the Langoustine, Pumpkin Risotto and Lemon Foam, the Seared Dorado with Yautía and Spiced Coconut Sauce, and the Free Range Chicken Hanoi.
